Side and rear tempered glass is $200 to $450 fitted for most vehicles with the cleanup included, and a door window takes around fifty minutes once the pane is in hand. We can do it at the shop, on your driveway, or in the lot where the car spends the working day.

A side or rear window failing is an all-at-once event. The pane converts to thousands of blunt cubes, the car is open, and the only useful question is how fast it can be closed again. We keep common glass for popular vehicles moving through the shop precisely so the answer is often the same day rather than the middle of next week.
The fit itself is careful rather than complicated. The door comes apart properly, the regulator and run channels are checked while they are accessible, and the fragments are cleared out of the bottom of the cavity before anything new is fitted. The pane is then set square and cycled repeatedly to confirm it seals along its entire travel. Rear screens are a bigger job: heavier glass, a heating grid to connect, and fragments spread through the trunk and the back seats. All of that gets vacuumed out, because tempered glass left in a door is what destroys a window motor a year later and glass left in a seat rail is what cuts somebody's hand. Where the exact pane is not on the shelf we say so immediately and give you a real date for it, rather than booking you in and explaining the delay afterward. Everything we fit carries the lifetime workmanship warranty.

In a borough where cars sit in open lots for eight or nine hours a day, a broken side window is usually discovered a long time after it happened. That changes the priorities slightly. There may already be rain in the cabin, there may be fragments spread further than usual from wind through the opening, and the vehicle has been sitting exposed for most of a working day. So we ask a couple of extra questions on the phone about how long it has been open and whether the weather got in, and we bring what we need to deal with that as well as the glass. Whether the car is at a company lot on Sylvan Avenue or on a driveway at home, we can do the whole job where it stands.
Same service, same price, other Cliffside Park neighborhoods:
It makes the cleanup bigger rather than the repair harder. Wind blows fragments further into the cabin and rain gets into the upholstery, so tell us what the weather did while you were inside. We will bring what is needed and clear the car out properly. The glass itself is replaced the same way regardless of how long it was open.
Yes. Fixed quarter panes and small vent windows are routine work, and they are often more delicate than a door glass because the fixings are small and become brittle with age. We take our time on those and seal them properly, so you are not left with a whistle at highway speed or water finding a path into the trim.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
